World Welfare Organisation
The World Welfare Organisation is a Public Charitable Trust under the Bombay Public Trust Act. 1950. It is registered with Charity Commissionerate of Gujarat. The Reg. No. is F/8541/Ahmedabad, dated 4/02/2002. Under the auspice of the trust many projects of human development are activated bringing welfare by developing ‘the person’ and there by ‘the scoiety’.
The Amarnath Dham is a unique creation of WORLD WELFARE ORGANISATION, similar to the pious cave of Lord Amarnath situated at J&K state of India. Moreover, twelve Jyotirlings are also created in a similar formation as they are found to the original pilgrim – places in India. W.W.O has also meticulously designed certain other projects of social utility and upliftment apart from the Amarnath dham. The main objects of the Organisation is to serve the society and thereby the mankind with certain definite programmes like
At present, the world is facing two burning problems, One is Terrorism and the other is Deforestation. Deforestation is causing irreparable damages to the proportion of oxygen which is the life line of any living being. And due to that the world gradually sliding towards destruction and devastation. The Organisation has, therefore, taken the a forestation programme and tree-plantation awareness programme through various media.
The World Welfare Organisation has been engaged in various activities as referred above since the inception. The organization has mainly started with three fields of human Welfare activities, i.e.,
The most valued attempts had have been made in the field of Agro-research Managing Trustee Prof. Prahladbhai Patel is one of the prominent Agro-scientist of the nation. He is involved in farming since his child-hood. He is also a chairman of Gujarat Agro-forest Research Center, Ahmedabad. He had published more than 200 articles upon farming of crops, fruits and tree plantation. He developed a unique research on juicy fruits of Lemon. He utilized tissue culture and hormonal theories of science in teak farming. He also consulted and educated many farmers regarding the progressive agricultural pattern for crops like cotton, wheat, groundnut, paddy, vegetables and fruits. He has given one new direction for trees that is called ‘Permanent Farming! He taught Indian Farmers about farming of Babool, Subabul Eucalyptus. The Agro-Forest Research Center, Under his technical expertise of ultra modern hormones and tissue culture, has also started as ideal teak plantation.
A comprehensive forestation programmes under the novel-name ‘Green Earth’ have also been organized by the W.W.O. at river band of Sabarmati Nr. Amarpur village of Gandhinagar district of Gujarat. Where about 15,000 of neam-trees and about 5,000 hybrid (improved) mango-trees are also planted. The forestation on uneven landscape of river bank has not only help in decreasing soil erosion but also has helped on the protection of environment and ecology!!
